Medical and Other Important Drives

Are you in need of a ride? The Transportation service provides a great solution when you unable to use public transportation because of needs related to aging, physical and/or mental health, and when friends or relatives are not available to help you. Rides, primarily to medical appointments, are provided by volunteers using their own vehicles.

If you need a family member or friend to accompany you to your appointment, they are welcome to ride along with you.  Based on the distance, you will be informed of the fee for the drive which you will pay directly to the driver, unless prior arrangements have been made with the office. The fee is intended to provided some reimbursement to the volunteer for fuel costs.

Please contact your local office and speak with a Service Coordinator to arrange for transportation to medical or other important appointments.
