Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels

Let us cook for you!

Our Meals on Wheels program helps ensure clients’ nutritional needs are met while also providing social interaction and a safety check from the volunteers who make the deliveries.

Meals on Wheels not only provides community members with a warm, freshly-made meal, but a welcome check-in with our friendly team. We deliver tasty, nutritious, and affordable ready-to-eat meals (including dessert!) that suit different dietary needs and preferences.

We can help!

Dedicated staff and volunteers are committed to meeting the ever increasing needs of food security for our communities.

Please note:

New portion sizes are now available. Meal options include Halal, vegetarian, low sodium, gluten-free, minced and pureed.
Hot and Frozen meal menu selections vary.

Larger portions now available!

We realize one size doesn’t necessarily fit all, so if your appetite is larger, why not upsize your hot meal? For $11.50 we will increase the protein portion of your meal from 4 ounces to 6 ounces to keep your hunger at bay.

Starting December 1, upsizing will be available in our southern Durham locations of Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, and Clarington.

If you’re interested in upsizing your meal, please call 1-888-255-6680.

How do I order Meals on Wheels?

To be able to order Meals on Wheels you must first be a registered client with CCD. If you are not yet registered, please call us at 1.888.255.6680 or compete the online Request Services form.

If you are a client and want to place an order, please complete the online Order Form or call your local office.

We can create an automatic meal delivery plan so that our clients do not have to remember to call in their order each time.

Service options are flexible, you can receive Meals on Wheels on a short-term basis while you recuperate or on a long-term basis so that you can stay healthy by eating properly in your own home.

All of our containers may be used to heat up meals later and we can accommodate several diet needs.
