Mark your calendar for early June 2019 and join Community Care Durham as we once again Walk for Mental Health Awareness! Our 14th Annual Walk not only serves as a fundraiser, but also raises awareness of mental health in the community, and supports those who are living with mental health issues. Participants walk or run 1, 2 or 5 km along a  scenic waterfront trail on the shores of Lake Scugog, and then return for a complimentary barbeque. A minimum pledge of $20 gets you a free Walk t-shirt, and prizes will be awarded for top pledges. This is a family-friendly event with entertainment, music, children’s activities, and dogs are welcome too! A resource and information area with booths from community groups will offer information on local resources. Come spend a morning with us and walk to show your support!
