Home Support Services
 
 
Home Support provides services that enhance the ability of adults with needs related to physical disability, aging, and/or special needs, to remain as independent as possible in their own homes and communities. A nominal fee is charged for some services.

Meals on Wheels: Nutritious hot or frozen meals are delivered by volunteers to clients in their homes.

Transportation: Volunteers provide transportation to clients for medical appointments, shopping, etc.

Luncheon Out: Group outings for clients to enjoy a nutritious meal and entertainment in a social setting.

Home Help and Home Maintenance: Brokered helpers provide assistance with light housekeeping, yard work, snow shovelling, etc.

Friendly Visiting: Volunteers visit on a regular basis to share in activities and companionship with clients.

Telephone Reassurance: Volunteers provide regular contact to check on the well being of clients.

Foot Care Clinics: Services are provided by registered foot care nurses.
