Foot Care Clinics

CCD’s Foot Care program is an important Health and Wellness service available to people who need assistance with basic foot care due to loss of vision, mobility issues or diabetes or when friends or relatives are not available to help.

We can help!

Care is provided by Nurses trained in foot care and all COVID-19 safety protocols are followed.

Please note:

Community Care Durham’s Foot Care Clinics are operational across many of CCD locations, following significant due diligence efforts to ensure client safety in response to COVID-19.

What Services Are Provided

Clients are encouraged to seek assistance from their own physician to be referred to a Podiatrist or a Chiropodist when problems are identified that do not fall within the scope of the Foot Care Clinic.

Each 15-minute session includes: cutting nails, paring down calluses and heels, removal of corns, applying lotion and basic foot care monitoring.

Cost

$25 for the first appointment and $22 for subsequent appointments.

Care is provided by Nurses trained in foot care and all COVID-19 safety protocols are followed.

Where Are Services Offered

Foot Care Clinics are available in Brock, Clarington, Pickering, Scugog, Uxbridge and Whitby. Please note: In Oshawa, Foot Care Clinics are offered by the Oshawa Senior Community Centres.

Foot Care Clinic Appointment Cancellation Policy

If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we require that you give us two business days notice in advance of a cancellation.
