Description: Join Community Care Durham as we Walk for Mental Health. The Community Care Durham 7th Annual Walk for Mental Health will start at 9 a.m. with registration and a warm-up. After the walk, feast on a complimentary BBQ lunch. There will be entertainment, children activities and fun for the whole family to enjoy. Other community groups will have displays at our Resource and Information Tent. You also have a change to win awesome prizes on event day. The Walk not only serves as a fundraiser but also raises awareness of mental illness in the community and supports those who are living with mental health issues. Come spend your morning with us and walk to show your support. See you on May 26th!!

Event: 16th Annual Gardens of Uxbridge

Description: Indulge yourself! spend a day in the gardens as Community Care Durham - Uxbridge hosts its 16th Annual Gardens of Uxbridge tour on Saturday, July 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., sponsored by Investors Group. This self-guided tour provides an exciting opportunity to view eight private gardens within Uxbridge and surrounding area. Tickets are $20 ($25 on the day) and include a box lunch. Purchase tickets by July 11 to be entered to win in the Early Bird Draw, dinner for two at the Tin Mill Restaurant, Uxbridge. Tickets are available by phone at 905-852-7445, and after June 1 in Uxbridge at Blue Heron Books, Garden Artifacts and the Tin Mill Restaurant; in Cannington at Jingles Gifts, and in Port Perry at Branching Out. On the day, activities include a raffle for an original bird house by Dan the Birdman.
